YOU ARE MEANT TO LIVE A LIFE IN

Lead with CLARITY. Grow with CARE. Build with INTEGRITY.
A new way of doing business—one that includes you.

About

Hi, I’m Nicole — a creative strategist, educator, writer, and lifelong entrepreneur. I help founders and small business owners design lives and businesses rooted in clarity, sustainability, and self-trust.

Over the last decade, I’ve built successful businesses, taught entrepreneurship to hundreds of students, and supported countless visionaries as they brought their ideas to life. But my most important lesson didn’t come from a win — it came from burnout.

Like many entrepreneurs, I once measured success by how much I could handle on my own. I pushed through exhaustion, sacrificed my health, and poured everything I had into my work. Eventually, I realized: what good is a thriving business if it costs you your well-being, your clarity, or your joy?

That insight became a turning point. It reshaped not only how I live, but how I lead, support, and build. Now, my work is about helping others navigate that same transformation — from hustle to harmony, from burnout to alignment.

At Moreland Design, my creative and strategic support agency, I partner with entrepreneurs to build businesses that reflect who they are — not just what they do. Whether we're rebranding your presence, mapping out growth strategies, or unraveling the mindset patterns holding you back, my approach blends practical tools with emotional intelligence, nervous system awareness, and storytelling that speaks to the soul.

This work is deeply personal. Pivoting your business isn’t just about new systems or a refreshed website — it’s a lifestyle shift. It’s the commitment to face your fears, challenge your patterns, and root your work in a version of you that’s more self-aware, self-respecting, and self-led.

Right now, I am expanding my work into research and writing — exploring how entrepreneurship, burnout, creativity, and identity intersect. My goal? To change how we define success and sustainability in small business spaces, and to support the real humans behind the brand.

Because your business doesn’t need to cost you everything.

It can be the most honest, life-giving thing you’ve ever built.

Hi, I'm Nicole

Nicole Horger - educator, creative strategist, entrepreneur, writer.

I’ve spent the better part of two decades helping hundreds of entrepreneurs and community leaders bring their ideas to life — as a business owner, event organizer, and educator.

In higher education, I’ve taught hundreds of students how to navigate the realities of entrepreneurship. In my own ventures, I’ve launched, bootstrapped, and scaled a multi–six-figure business.

But I also burned out — deeply. I pushed beyond my limits until I couldn’t anymore. It took years of reflection, healing, and unlearning to understand what wasn’t working and why.

Now, I use those hard-earned lessons and tools to support other business owners in building something sustainable. My work is about helping entrepreneurs find clarity, calm, and growth — not at the cost of their well-being, but alongside it.

Build a business that works for you—not the other way around.
Rooted strategy, emotional resilience, and practical support for sustainable growth.

Find out who you are and do it on purpose.

What Clients Say

Making a career change or trying to make a dream a reality is difficult. The path is riddled with self-doubt and the fear of “If I ask this will I sound dumb.” Nicole is the first person I go to, to share an idea or help me work through the labyrinth of career challenges. I know that when I go to her not only will my concern be heard but she will help me sort out the mental chaos I’ve gotten myself into without judgment and get me back on track.
